Cosplay Photoshoot: Misty!

The last week was busy as I attempted to finish my latest cosplay before Supanova 2016 here in Perth. Long story short: the cosplay got finished but unlike Cinderella, I didn’t quite make it to the con. Instead, with the help of my amazing partner, we did a photo shoot down by the river! Because everyone knows Misty loves everything water right?  Continue reading “Cosplay Photoshoot: Misty!”

10 Things to Have in Your Gym Bag

They say diamonds are a girls best friend, but I am pretty sure my gym bag is doing a much better job at keeping my life together! Continue reading “On Sundays, We Snatch!”

Try it: My First Spin Class!

As I mentioned in previous posts, I am to get more cardio days in between Kettlebell training sessions to work on my endurance and overall fitness. But I am not the biggest fan of running, so I’ve been on the lookout for other options to avoid having to go for a jog. Thankfully after running into a friend at the mall yesterday, she invited me to join her at spin class today! I have never done spin before (which now seems crazy as I love hopping on the stationary bike while I am at a gym), so this seemed to be the perfect time to try! What is better then trying something new with a friend?  Continue reading “Try it: My First Spin Class!”

Dealing With Stress

There is two types of stress. Distress (or bad stress) and eustress (or good stress). Yes, there is a specific name for good stress! Brock University website sums up eustress quite nicely. Continue reading “Dealing With Stress”
